Determination of Chlorogenic Acid in Lonicer maakii Maxim S Flowers and Leaves by HPLC

Abstract :With 70% methanol as solvent, the chloro enic acid in Lonicer maakii Maxim s flowers and leaves
was extracted with Soxhlet extraction and the determination was done with HPLC. The chloro enic acidwas seperated
on SHIMADZU C18 column, the mobile phase was acetonit rile- 0. 5% phosphoric acid ( 1: 9) , and the detection

wave len th was 327nm, the volume flow was 1. 0mLmi .The calibration curve was linear in the ran e of 0. 232~
3. 48 ( r= 0. 999 6) . The result showed that there were hi her content of chloro enic acid in flowers and leaves of
Lonicer maakii Maxim.
