ETHODS The granules were identified by TLC.The baicalin in the granuleswas determined by HPLC. RESULTS The chromatogram obtainedwith the test solution of the 2 materials in the granules showed the same characteristic spots in color and position with the control ones respectively while the blan solution showed no corresponding spots. Within the range of 0. 02172- 0. 3258g, baicalin presented a fine linear relationship ( r = 09999) .The average recovery of sample was 100. 3% with RSD = 0. 56% ( n = 5) . CONCLUSION The methods are simple, reliable, accurate and can be used for the quality control of this preparation.
