The re ult howed that the tan- n in content ranged from 61159% to 68130% and the m ean content wa 64149% . Gallic acid content ranged from 70135% to 77161% and the mean contentw a 73192% . The w all th ickne o f ga ll ranged from 1155 to 2101mm, and den ity ranged from 01 16 to 0133 g # mL- 1. Correlation analy i indicated that the tannin content had a po itive ign if-i cant correlation w ith the gallic acid content , but the tann in and gallic acid content had no ignificant correlat ion w ith the w all th ickne and den ity, re pectively. M eanwh ile, both of the tannin and gallic acid content had a negative ignificant correlation w ith m ean m onth temperature of A pril to Augu t and had no ign ificant correlation w ith the re
