Plans for talking about lessons
I. Teaching material analysis:
This part is Unit 5 Section A (1a, ab,1c and 2c).It’s the beginning of the Present Progressive. It is around the topic 揥hat are you doing??In the textbook, there are many pictures. It can make the students interested in English . It includes What questions,Yes/No questions and their answers. The teacher will set up a happy and relaxing environment and improve the students’ listening, speaking, reading and writing skills.
ⅠTeaching Aims and Demands
1. Knowledge and ability aims
a. Key vocabulary : do homework, watch TV, eat dinner, read, talk on the phone and so on.
Target language: What are you doing? I’m sleeping.
What’s he/she doing? He/She is reading.
What are they doing? They are eating dinner.
Is he/she writing? Yes, he/she is. No, he/she isn’t.
b. Ability aims: Train students’ listening, speaking, reading and writing skills.
Train students’ communicative competence.
2. Procedure and method aims:
a. The teacher do some activities to introduce the Present Progressive Tense.
b. Ask some students to do activities and ask the others to guess.
c. Play a film without sound and ask the students to add the sound.
3. Emotion attitude and values aims: To be a brave person.
Ⅱ. Teaching Key Points
The Present Progressive Tense., Yes/No questions and short answers and be able to make a conversation with it. Because the Present Progressive Tense is the importance of the course in middle school.
Ⅲ. Teaching Difficulties :
The forms of the Present Progressive Tense: be doing and ask them not to forget 揵e? heIn my teaching life, I know that the students often lose the verb揵e?

The students take the tasks into the lesson . They will know what they need to learn and it will make the studying better. Pairwork and groupwork can help the students learn how to get on well with others. They will feel happy when they are succe
