The teacher will set up a happy and relaxing environment and improve the students’ listening, speaking, reading and writing skills. ⅠTeaching Aims and Demands 1. Knowledge and ability aims a. Key vocabulary : do homework, watch TV, eat dinner, read, talk on the phone and so on. Target language: What are you doing? I’m sleeping. What’s he/she doing? He/She is reading. What are they doing? They are eating dinner. Is he/she writing? Yes, he/she is. No, he/she isn’t. b. Ability aims: Train students’ listening, speaking, reading and writing skills. Train students’ communicative competence. 2. Procedure and method aims: a. The teacher do some activities to introduce the Present Progressive Tense. b. Ask some students to do activities and ask the others to guess. c. Play a film without sound and ask the students to add the sound. 3. Emotion attitude and values aims: To be a brave person. Ⅱ.
