Total positive rate was 50.6%, in which the infection rates of trichostrongyle, whipworm, roundworm, Strongyloides , hookworm, cestode, Fasciola and coccidia were 37.4%, 5.0%, 5.4%, 2.0%, 0.2%, 2.4%, 0.4% and 7.8%, respectively. The infection rates of herbivores and primates were 61.3% and 28.4%. Giraffa cameleopardalis and Ceropithecidae were severely infected with Trichostrongylus and Trichuris with average infection rates at 64.5% and 31.2% and noticeable seasonality. In addition, parasite eggs from Trichostrongylus positive feces developed into the third stage larvae L3 for morphological identi? cation. The results showed that samples from Giraffa cameleopardalis , wildebeest and Oryx dammah were infected with several trichostrongyles, among which Haemonchus contortus was predominant.
