Abstract! Objective T o ana ly ze and identify the chem ica l com ponents of T rigone lla fo enumg raecum L of d ifferen t
producing area by LCM S. Methods T he ana lysis w as perform ed on an D iam onsil C18 ( 250mm ∀ 4. 6mm, 5m ) co lum n. T he
m ob ile phases w ere aceton itr ile andHA c and w ater in g radient elution. ES sou rcew as used and data w ere acqu ired in positive
and negative m ode. Results T he structures of 11 com pounds of T r igone lla foenumgraecum L w ere identified by direct com
parison w ithM S of QTOF, the standard substances and the data of the literatures. Furtherm ore, the types of the com pounds
w ere flavones, saponins and alka lo ids com pounds. Conclusion t is a rapid and accurate me thod that the chem ica l com po si
tions of traditional Ch inese m edicine can be identified in te rm s of the separa tion of high per fo rm ance liqu id chrom atography, the
accura te m o lecular we ights m easured by M S and o ther inform ation, w hich can prov ide a m ethod fo r active components research
for TCM and TCM formu lae.
