摘 要 跨文化交际学在我国的发展比较晚，其理论空间还有待继续构建。本文从 跨文化的角度探讨语言与文化的关系。这两者之间的关系是语言学也是跨文化 交际学的重要课题。研究跨文化交际必定不能跨越语言这一层面。如何解释和 揭示语言的实体——词汇与文化的关系是本研究讨论的关键点。 文章通过汉英“手”类词语的不同构词方式、语义构成、文化内涵、隐喻、 转喻、认知方式等方面的对比分析，总结出语言的实体——词汇与跨文化交际 的关系。同时总结了影响跨文化交际的因素不仅仅是语言层面的，还有文化、 政治、历史、思维、心理、环境及不同民族的人生观、价值观、世界观等诸多 因素。本文运用语言学、认知语言学、语用语言学及跨文化交际学等理论构建 主题。 本文一共五部分。第一部分分析了课题研究的现状、研究的意义、背景及 方法。第二部分界定了文化的定义，探讨在跨文化交际中语言与文化的关系。 第三部分是本文的重点之一。第一节主要讨论汉英“手”类词语的构词及 “手” 类词语构词反映的汉英交际者双方的思维模式。第二节分析了汉英“手”类词 语的语义成分及隐含在语义中的文化内涵。第三节讨论了汉英两民族不同的认 知模式对跨文化交际的影响，并从认知角度讨论了汉英词汇的隐喻和转喻的同 质和异质问题。第四部分探讨的是在语言与文化关系中，由于认知方式和思维 模式的不同，影响交际的因素主要有心理因素、环境因素和各自的价值观、世 界观和人生观等。第五部分总结全文。文章运用汉英人体词汇中的“手”类词 语的对比分析等方法，从词汇系统这个角度剖析汉英两种语言中词汇对文化、 对跨文化交际的影响，从而说明语言中的共性和特性对跨文化交际的作用。 关键词： 语言；文化；跨文化交际；汉英“手”类词语 I ABSTRACT The development of intercultural communication is relatively late in China and the space of its theory is expected to be built completely further. This thesis mainly shows the relationship, which is also an important issue of linguistics and intercultural communication, between language and culture from the perspective of intercultural communication. We cannot do the research on intercultural communication without considerting language. Therefore, how to explain and reveal the relationship between vocabulary, which is the entity of language, and culture becomes the key points in the thesis. The thesis sums up the relationship using the comparative analysis to the same word “hand” in Chinese and English from word formation, semantics, culture, rhetorical devices and so on.
