Abstract The technology of infrared polarization imaging detect was discussed. The advantages of infrared
polarization imaging detect to traditional infrared imaging detect were given, and the main conclusion of
overseas on infrared polarization imaging detect was analyzed. In the end, the significance of infrared
polarization imaging detection technology and the challenge of this technology to traditional detect
technology were pointed out.
