Analysis of nonperturbative fluctuations in a triple-well potential J. As required by the semiclassical approximation we take into 0 2 account the quadratic fluctuations over the instanton which represents as r a M usual the localised finite-action solution of the euclidean equation of motion. 3 The determinants of the quadratic differential operators at issue are evaluated 1 by means of the Gelfang-Yaglom method. In doing so the explicit computation v 0 1 of the conventional ratio of determinants takes as reference the harmonic 0 3 oscillator whose frequency is the average of the individual frequencies derived 0 1 0 from the non-equivalent minima of the potential. Eventually the physical / h effects of the multi-instanton configurations are included in this approach.
