Physical and body parameters were collected and were uesd to analysis of variance. In addition, risk factors for hypertension were screened using a multifactor logistic regression analysis.The prevalence of the hypertension in Hetian was 25.6%. The incidence of hypertension was positively correlated to age and fasting blood glucose (FBG). There was also a positive correlation among blood pressure, age, body mass index (BMI), waist-to-hip ratio (WHR), abdominal circumference (AC), triglyceride cholesterol(TG), high density lipoprotein (HDL), low density lipoprotein(LDL)and body fat (p 0.05).
