Chutung, Hsinchu, Taiwan 310, R.O.C) Abstract:Computation Fluid Dynamic (CFD) could be an effective tool on blade design providing designers or engineers various information of fluid field and proving their concepts rather than seeking traditional experiments if available. In this study, we analyze the fluid field of wind turbine blade by RANS approach, and compare the results (including the fluid field and the blade performance) from a BEM method. The results are summarized and show that both approaches have quite similar outcomes with most indexes show differen
