Methods 　Det ecting 50 cases of formalinfixed and p araffinembeded brea st duct al carci noma samples comp ared wit h result of immunohi stochemi st ry and t hen analyzed wit h clinicop at hological dat a . Results 　Sixt een of fift y (32 . 0 %) ca ses of breast carcinoma p resent ed po sitive for H ER2 p rot ein exp ression , including 5 st rong , 9 moderat e and 2 weak exp ression s , resp ectively . Eleven of fift y ( ) 22 . 0 % cases of brea st cancer showed po sitive for H ER2 gene amplification , in which 5/ 5 wa s t he ca ses showing st rongly po sitive and 6/ 9 p resenting mo derat ely po sitive exp ression for H ER2 p rot ein by immunohi stochemi st ry . And t he one wit h bot h amp lification of H ER2 gene and polysomy of chromo some 17 was al so moderat ely po sitive exp ression for t he p rot ein . Bot h gene amp lification and p rot ein ex p ression of H ER2 were corresponding to met ast a si s of lymp h nodes
