A lot of science researches and initiatives had been put in transportation and social economic conflicts, and coordinating development issues. We are now in a stage that social problems of traffic widespread and burst, without analysis of the transportation from the comprehensive perspective of social assessment, without standardization to and lead the social development of cities transportation. So it is important to make up the the content, principles, and systems of social evaluation of urban traffic. As this is not just from the the perspective of urban transport or the perspective of economics, this integrated social evaluation can lead to more effective governance means.
