Searching for multi-boson effects and space-time asymmetries in particle production R. Lednick´y Institute of Physics, Na Slovance 2, 18221 Prague 8, Czech Republic The influence of the multi-boson effects on pion multiplicities, single-pion spectra and two-pion correlation functions is discussed in terms of an analytically solvable model. It is argued that spectacular multi-boson effects are likely to be observed 3 only in the rare events containing sufficiently high density fluctuations. The possi- 0 bilities of unlike particle correlations for a study of the space-time asymmetries in 0 particle production, including the sequence of particle emission, are demonstrated. 2 r p A 1 Introduction 8 1 The correlations of particles at small relative velocities are widely used to study space- time characteristics of the production processes.
