Abstract Teaching in today, students are often seen as a container of loaded knowledge. Students’ life experience, living in the world, as well as personal quest for the meaning of life itself has been forgotten. Meanwhile, the teachers’ life presence and their own development are not attention inadequately. The aim of the new curriculum reform contains life care, education aimed at changing the status quo unreasonable. However, the status of education in todays point of view, the results of the new curriculum reform is not ideal. Pursuing the meaning of life in teaching is to change the status quo of teaching, the premise of solving problems that life is missing in teaching. Solving some of the problems of life from the life-emphasized education is particularly important. This paper is divided into seven parts as follows: The first part is the introduction. This part is mainly elaborating the reasons of topics, relevant research, and giving the significance of the research, ideas and ways a brief description. The second part is the analysis of management concepts. The concepts of life, life education, life-emphasized teaching is collated and analyzed. The management concept s of life are analyzed from four aspects which are biology, sociology, psychology and philosophy. To arrange the definition of life education and life-emphasized teaching, it mainly through the source of them and the relevant research them, and then make my own analysis. The third part is the pursuit of life in the teaching activities. This section includes the background, the meaning and characteristics
