M ethods：60 patients w ith endom etriosis undergoing IV F-ET w ere divided into traditional Chinese m edicine(TCM ) group(n 30) and control group (n 30) random ly. The TCM group w ere treated w ith X iaoyi prescription for tw o m enstrual cycles before G n w as used, w hile the control group received on treatm ent. The patients of final group w ere treated w ith prolonged gonadotropin-releasing horm one agonist(G nRH -a) protocol. The endocrine basis, levels of V EG F、M M P-9 in the serum , clinical sym ptom s and pregnancy rate w ere com pared before and after treatm ents in both groups. R esults: There w as no statistical difference betw een the tw o groups before treatm ent (P＞0.05). The levels of FSH and E2 show ed significant difference in the TCM group before and after treatm ent (P ＜0.05) w hile LH didn’t(P＞0.05). A nd there w as significant difference in the levels of V EG F、M M P-9 in the serum and the clinical sym ptom s(P＜0.05). N o statistical difference w as found in the control group (P＞0.05). There w as statistical difference in clinical sym ptom s, the num ber of fertilization, high quality em bryo num ber and the pregnancyrate in the TCM group com pared w ith the control group after treatm ent(P＜0.05). C onclusions: Traditional Chinese m edicine can significantly im prove the clinical sym ptom s and pregnancy rate in patients w ith EM s undergoing
