M ethodology: The data of Cochrane L ibrary, ubM ed, CNK I and V I until September 25, 2010 w ere retrieved to search the studies about the random ized controlled clinical trials ( RCTs) in the treatm ent of m em branous nephropathy by tacrolmi us. Standard stud iesw ere used by quality evaluation and M eta analysis. The qualities of included articles were assessed and then a metaanalysis was conducted. Results: Five RCTs stud ies in w hich included 188 patients at hom e and abroad w ere collected. M eta analysis show ed that compared w ith the control group, tacrolmi usw as m ore effective in com plete rem issions (RR= 21695% , CI 132~ 355) and totalrem ission (RR= 159 95% , CI 127~ 201). Adverse effect could be recovered by symptomatic treatm ent. Conclusion:The current lmi ited evidence suggests that tacrolmi us ism ore effective than traditional protocols in treatment ofm em bra
