To review all the key vocabulary presented in this unit
To practice writing about others
To use the target language in conversation
Procedures
1 Checking words
Please read the words aloud in Part 1 and get to know the meanings of them. Check the words you know. The words can be divided the words into 3 different groups:
1). verbs: arrive, go out, practice, can, can’t, have to, listen
2) nouns: classroom, hallway, uniform, sports shoes,
3) others: late, outside, without 2 Writing
If you want to learn English well, you should learn as many words as possible. While learning this unit you must meet some new words you don’t know. Please write five or more new words in your vocab-builder.
3 Writing
Look at the pictures in Part 3. What can see in each picture?
List the rules of the Fraser Family.
Family rules
Don’t talk loudly on the phone.
Don’t watch TV too late.
Don’t eat on the bed.
Clean the house on weekends.
Don’t sleep late on Sundays.
Don’t make much noise late in the night. Read the rules aloud please. Imagine you are children in the Fraser family. Write a letter alone to Dr Know about the rules in their house.
Dr Know,
I’m not happy. I have too many rules in my house. I have to clean the house on weekends. I can’t watch TV on ten o’clock. On weekends, I can’t sleep late on Sundays. I can’t talk loudly on the phone. My parents don’t let me make much noise late in the night.
