School of Earth Science and Resources, Bei ing 100083, China) Abstract The M ing Tombs of world cultural heritage in China were the typical representative of Ming and Qing imperial catacombs. They com bined Chinese ancient royal catacombs architecture w ith the geomantic philosophy perfectly. However, as the heritage tourism warmed up continuously, cultural heritage w as also facing the tourist capacity crisis, the heritage conservation and the community residents contradiction , heritage integrity de struction such problems. In view of the above problems, this paper put forw ard the control of tourists, reasonable planning, holistic protection, multivari ate development strategy, further promoting the sustainable development of the Ming Tombs .
