Ho ever, there is not yet any research or comprehensive investigation to demonstrate in hich aspects this trend is concretely represented. Using the WordSmith T ool, this paper makes a key ord in context ( KWC) concordance query of all the lexis hich contain or denote the meaning of / hong0 (or / red0) in the first 80 chapters of the Hong Lou Meng corpus. The concordance results are then analyzed and discussed ith the help of Leech. s sense theory as a tool. It is hoped that the findings thus obtained ill shed light on the claim of / adoration of red0 in H ong Lou Meng .
