T: Yesterday we learnt a story about a terrible flood. Who can retell the story to us?
S: Let me try. First Flora heard somebody shouting. She looked round and saw Jeff running, but she didn’t know what was happening. Next, Flora saw Jeff waving his arms to her She looked around and saw a big mass of water advancing towards her. Then, Jeff ran to save her. They ran together towards the house. It was very difficult for them to get to the house. Finally they managed to get to the house and they ran upstairs quickly. Jeff wanted to find the chimney. He thought the chimney would stand in the flood. They found a safe place at last.
