Operating Area Name: C-12-01 Operating Area #: Grindstone NFS Inventory Map #: 74 - 41 NTS Map #: 12A/15 Grindstone is located the near the headwaters of Mary March Brook and is adjacent to the Gaff Topsails area. It is accessed utilizing the Description of Area: T’rail Provincial Park. This area was harvested in 2007 and prescribed burned in 2009. It is located in the Central Newfoundland Ecoregion. Harvesting No harvesting activities are proposed for this operating area. Activities: It is proposed that the area will be planted with black spruce, Norway Silviculture spruce and white pine seedlings.
