As a interesting field in quantum information theory, remote state preparation has been studied in both theory and experiment. Up to now, people have achieved some valuable results. This article focuses on remote state preparation and its extensions, namely joint remote state preparation and joint remote preparation of multiple-GHZ state. After dealing with the basic knowledge in quantum mechanics and quantum information theory, we illustrate three common quantum technics briefly as well as pointing out the features and advantages of remote state preparation. In the third chapter, we provide a RSP protocol whose original state is shared by two parties in detail. Discussion on JRSP of multiple-GHZ state and multipart RSP is placed in chapter four. We provide analysis on classical communication cost(CCC) and advantages and disadvantages for each protocol, then investigate relevant conceptions. At the end, we also offer some open questions for further study.
