The Research of Clinical Effect of the different radial head fractuers Speciality：Traditional Chinese orthopaedics and traumatology Author ：Sun Xunjiang Tutor：Li Jingyin Abstract Objective: In order to discuss the treatment strategy of the adult radial head fractures, we choose some patients to carry on the review analysis of different treatment communica- ted with this fracture. we expect that it will guide the clinical treatment so as to improve recovery of the wounded limbs. Method: 29 patients of the radial head fractures from Orthopedics of Affiliated Hospital of Shandong University of Traditional Chinese Medic- ine(2008.06 to 2010.12), who have complete clinical follow-up data, were retrospectively analyzed. Among the 329cases ,7cases received conservative treatment(all type Mason Ⅰ),13 cases received ORIF(8 type Mason Ⅱand 5 type MasonⅢ) ,14 cases receive radial head excision treatment(6 type Mason Ⅳ,3 type MasonⅢ ).To discuss the clinical effect communicated with the different treatment of this fracture , we analyze the functional evaluation of the wounded elbow joint based on Brobery and Morrey score system. Result: Significant difference (p0.05)was found on the score communicated with the patients, the average score and the rate of good 6 weeks and 12weeks after the surgery. The excellent and good rate of treatment in nonoperative ,ORIF as well as excision of radial head was 85.7%(6/7) 、92.3%(12/13)、77.8% （7/9 ）. Conclusion:We should choose the treatment of the adult radial head fractures according to the classification,and also concern the degree of the injury, such as ligaments ’injury, parenchyma injury and so on. The type Mason Ⅰand type Mason Ⅱ fractures can be carried on theconservative treatment
