Its first step was the preparation of PP/ multi-walled carbon nanotubes(MWCNTs) nanocomposites by in situ polymerization with MWCNTs supported Ziegler-Natta catalyst. Then ε PP/poly( -caprolactone)(PCL) nanoalloys were prepared by the ring-opening polymerization of ε ε -caprolactone( -CL) initiated by hydroxyls on the surface of MWCNTsin which the PCL molecular chains were grafted onto the MWCNTs surface. The catalystPP/MWCNTs nanocomposites and PCL were characterized by means of SEMTEMFTIR and GPCand the morphology and stability of the PCL phase among the PP/PCL nanoalloys were investigated. The results indicated that the stable nano-size PCL phase formed among the PP/PCL nanoalloys and the phase size depended on the relative molecular mass of PCL.
