Clinical research of therapy of Qingretongfu to treat Sepsis Speciality：Internal Medicine of Traditional Chinese Medicine Author ：Yan Su Tutor：Prof.You ke Abstract Objective：This research apply the therapy of Qingretongfu to treat patients with Sepsis，which may provide a new way for the treatment of Sepsis with the combination of Chinese medicine and western medicine. Methods: Our study was performed at the Affiliated Hospital of Shandong University of TCM. We conducted a prospective case-control study on 60 Sepsis patients in ICU from April 2011 to April 2012. The 60 patients were randomly divided into the treatment group and the contrast group. The contrast group was received common western medicine therapy and the other received Qingretongfu therapy except for the common western medicine therapy. On the first day before starts of treatment and Day 7 after the treatment, we recorded the APACHE Ⅱscore, and the investigated parameters. All data were analyzed with SPSS 17.0. Results: One week later, we found treatment group compared with contrast group, which was significant difference (P ＜0.05) . At the same time, we found this therapy can significantly decreased the level of APACHE score, T, P, R, WBC, Neu, Neu%, CRP. Compared with contrast group, there were significant difference (P＜0.05). Conclusions: Qingretongfu therapy combined with normal western medicine can effectively treat the patients with Sepsis.
