Clinical Study on Treatment of Primary Dysmenorrhea by Moxibustion Shenque(RN8) and Needling Sanyinjiao(SP6) Speciality: Acupuncture and Moxibustion Author:Wang Jing Tutor: Ma Yuxia Abstract Objective: This study has two groups involved in the treatment of primary dysmenorrhea,one is moxibustion shenque(RN8) and needling sanyinjiao(SP6) group, another is moxibustion daheng(SP15) and needling xuanzhong(GB39) group. Then obsered the improvement of clinical symptoms and abdominal pain severity of the primary dysmenorrhea patients by the two kinds of treatment methods, to exploring the specificity of acupoints compatibility in the same nerve segment on the regulation effect of uterus. Methods: 36 cases of primary dysmenorrhea patients were divided into two groups randomly.18 cases was treated with moxibustion shenque(RN8) and needling sanyinjiao(SP6) and 18 cases was treated with moxibustion daheng(SP15) and needling xuanzhong(GB39).Then we observed the improvement of clinical symptoms and abdominal pain severity before and after four menstrual cycles intervention treatment , to comparing the differences between the two groups. Result:Both the groups of moxibustion shenque(RN8) and needling sanyinjiao(SP6) group and moxibustion daheng(SP15) and needling xuanzhong(GB39) group are able to reduce the patients clinical symptoms and abdominal pain severity,and the differences between prior-treatment and post-treatment are significant(P0.01).But moxibustion shenque(RN8) and needling sanyinjiao(SP6) is better than moxibustion daheng(SP15) and needling xuanzhong(GB39) on the short and long term effect.
