The Observation of Clinical Effect on Chronic Pelvic Inflammatory Disease by Acupuncture and Warming Moxibustion Speciality：Science of Acupuncture and Moxibustion and Massage Author ：Li Yong Tutor：Professor Zhang Yongchen Abstract Objective: To observe the clinical effect on Chronic Pelvic Inflammatory Disease by Acupuncture and warming moxibustion, and to explore the mechanism, the paper reaches a reliable treatment by acupuncture. Method: 98 Patients were divided into observation group and contrast group, 49 patients in each group. One was acupuncture and warming moxibustion treatment group and another was simple acupuncture group. The groups separately adopted two methods acupuncture and warming moxibustion and simple acupuncture on guanyuan, shuidao, sanyinjiao. Before treatment, after periods of treatment and 2 months later, we recorded and compared the score of patients’ symptoms. Result: After periods of treatment, there were 17 clinical cured, 19 marked effect, 10 effect, 3 no effect among the 49 patients in observation group. The recovery rate was 34.69%, the total effective rate was 93.88%. There were 8 clinical cured, 15 marked effect, 18 effect, 8 no effect among the 49 patients in contrast group. The recovery rate was 16.33%, the total effective rate was 83.67%. The observation group was superior to the contrast group on recovery rate and total effective rate （P0.05). Two months after treatment, there were 20 clinical cured, 21 marked effect, 7 effect, 1 no effect among the 49 patients in observation group.
