It is for providing the clinical application of mother-child reinforcing-reducing techniques a wealth of literature, a solid theoretical basis ，and clinical application reference. Methods: Mainly by manually looking up TCM literatures from HuangDi NeiJing of Warring States Period to Qing Dynasty, and assist by looking up related research on wap, to make an extensive data collection. Read them one by one according to their age to get a general description, exclude those which does not involve reinforcing-reducing method, reserve those which is related to reinforcing-reducing method. Secondly, collate the “mother-child reinforcing-reducing” of all the related content from selected literature. Finally, to sort out the related literature of mother-child reinforcing-reducing theory, as well as the key points to apply mother-child reinforcing-reducing techniques, ultimately to form a complete theoretica l system． Resul
