Analysis of the relationship between TCM syndromes of pediatric asthmatic bronchitis and influencing factors Specialty: Respiratory Disease, Pediatrics Medicine of TCM Author: Wang Yankun Tutor: Professor Xing Xianghui Abstract Objectives: To explore the relationship between TCM syndromes of pediatric asthmatic bronchitis and clinical symptoms and influencing factors that caused its occurrence, and provide the reference and basis of clinical syndrome differentiation for its treatment. Methods: Establishing clinical questionnaire, collecting the children’s medical records who are in accord with the asthmatic bronchitis criteria for the diagnosis of Chinese and western medicine, establishing a relevant database , using SPSS16.0 Statistical Package for relative data processing ,analyzing the relationship between TCM syndromes of pediatric asthmatic bronchitis and influencing factors. Results: There are 247 cases in this survey of pediatric asthmatic bronchitis , in which there are 114 cases belong to the cold asthma syndrome, 93 cases belong to the heat asthma syndrome,26 cases belong to the syndrome of combined with cold and heat,14 cases belong to the syndrome of deficiency-excess complication.By the statistical analysis, TCM syndromes of pediatric asthmatic bronchitis have no significant correlation with age of onset,birth situation,delivery mode, birth weight, history of allergic rhinitis/eczema, past medical history, degree of fever,eosinophilic acid granulocyte percentage and CK-MB(P 0.05),but have certain correlation with gender,feeding history,season,the attacking time,allergy history,inducing factors,the total number of WBC and the
