The Clinical Observation of Pricking Blood Therapy add Blow Throat Powder on Pharyngal Cough Specialty: The Study of Otorhinolaryngology of TCM Author: Zou Xiankun Tutor: Prof. Wang Yuming Abstract Objective: To observe and check the clinical efficacy and adverse effects of Pricking Blood Therapy add Blow Throat Powder in treating Pharyngal Cough so to find a new treatment.Methods: Sixty patients with Pharyngal Cough entered the study and were randomized to Pricking Blood Therapy add Blow Throat Powder treatment group and Pricking Blood Therapy control group,30 case in each. The treatment group was given Pricking Blood Therapy add Blow Throat Powder in which 3 times is one course of treatment and generally not more than 4 times; The control group was given Pricking Blood Therapy in which 3 times is one course of treatment and generally not more than 4 times. Observe and record the symptoms and physical signs at the beginning and ending of the experiment, and record adverse reactions. Results: After counted with statistics, the clinical observations show that both groups are effective. The total effective rate of the treatment group is 90.00%,while the total effective rate of the control group is 70.00%.There is quite significant difference between them （P0.05 ）The efficacy of the treatment group is better than that of the control group and all symptoms and signs were improved （P0.05 ）in the comparison at the beginning and the ending.
