Clinical analysis about treatment based on syndrome differentiation of 59 patients with Hashimotos disease Speciality：Surgery of Traditional Chinese Medicine Author ：Yan Qingxin Tutor：Professor Song Aili Abstract Objective: This study aimed to investigate the Hashimotos disease pathogenesis and treatment based on syndrome differentiation in order to provide the basis for clinical diagnosis and treatment. Methods: Collected from 2002 January to 2012 January screening of Shandong University of Traditional Chinese Medicine hospital admitting Hashimotos disease cases, the use of retrospective analysis method, classification, list register, the establishment of Excel table summary, using the SPSS 17 data package was used for statistical processing. Results: 1.59 cases were collected, including 49 cases of female, 10 males. Age 25 to 67 years, mean age 47.02 years, median age 47 years.2. According to the clinical presentation, can be divided into early, middle, late, this group of cases early in 6 cases, 13 cases of middle, late in 40 cases, respectively 28.85%, 22.03%, 67.8%. 3. Clinical easily misdiagnosed as thyroid nodular goiter, thyroid cancer. 4. Use of traditional Chinese and Western medicine treatment for the disease, 22 cases of patients with recurrent cases, total in 37.29% of patients, including drug treatment group of 20 cases, accounting for 33.9%; operation treatment group of 2 cases accounted for 3.39%. Conclusion : This disease based on clinical presentation is divided into early, midddle, late. Diagnosis depends on pathology. Combined treatment of TCM and Western medicine is effective in treating method. On the principle of dominated by drug treatment, generally should not be treated by operation
