Clinical Study on Treatment of Tinea Manus and Pedis by Baihuang Lotion and Fungistasis Experimental Study Speciality:Dermatology,Surgery of TCM Auther:Wang Haina Tuter:Professor Chen Huiling Abstract Objective: To observe the clinical curative effect and safety of the Baihuang lotion to the tinea manus and pedis, and comparing to miconazole nitrate; Research on the inhibition of Baihuang lotion to the clinical separational strains of fungi. Methods: Clinical research: 60 patients were randomly divided into two groups: treatment group of 30 patients, with Baihuang lotion to wash topically, 2 times a day, repeat 4 weeks; 30 cases in western, with miconazole nitrate cream, 2 times a day, repeat 4 weeks. After discontinuation observe the curative effect, compared the two groups after the follow-up treatment and the recurrence rate one month later. Experimental study: use medicine determination of Baihuang lotion to determine the minimum inhibitory concentrations of opportunistic fungal pathogenthe of tinea manus and pedis. Results: Clinical curative effect: treatment group and control group were both valid, the cure rate of treatment group is 80.00%, the fungi clearance rate is 86.67%, the total effective is 86.67%; The control group, rate of treatment group is 60.00%, the fungi clearance rate is 80.00%, the total effective is 80.00%; the total effective rate in treatment group was better than the control group; The treatment group compared before and after treatment, signs and symptoms were obviously improved. Experimental study:the MICs of Baihuang lotion to Red achorion, Trichophytonmentagrophytes,candida albicans were 15.6mg/ml 、7.81mg/ml and 31.25mg/ml.
