Clinical Effect Observation and Preliminary Study about Mechanism of SangBai lotionon Seborrhea Dermatitis Specialty：Dermatology ，Surgery of TCM Author ：Sun Xiao Chen Tutor： Professor Du Xixian Abstract Objective: The objectives of this study are : (1) To observe the clinical effect of SangBai Lotion on curing seborrhea dermatitis and investigate whether the invasion of seborrhea dermatitis is related to malassezia； (2) To observe the effect of SangBai Lotion on inflammatory reaction and the itching models and investigate the possible mechanism of SangBai Lotion on curing seborrhea dermatitis. Methods: 90 seborrhea dermatitis patients are divided randomly into three treatment groups: SangBai Lotion group, ketoconazole group and selenium disulfide group, with a four-week course for each group. The changes of erythema, papular eruptions, greasiness, itching, squame and baldness of patients ’ are all observed. Meanwhile, we also expand some experiment on the guinea pigs. In this experiment, we first set up a mouse model of auricular swelling, and then divide randomly these guinea pigs into three groups, and at last spread physiological salineh, alcinonide fluid, and SangBai Lotion on external ears in each group, respectively. The antiinflammatory effects of the guinea pigs are recorded. In addition, we also set an itching model for guinea pigs, and spread SangBai Lotion, halcinonide fluid and physiological saline on them, respectively, and observe the effects of SangBai Lotion on skin itch.
