Introduction of Customs Clearance Relevant Documents An import/export transaction usually requires a lot of complicated documents. The number and type of documents needed depend on the specific requirements of the exporter and importer. Technically, most exports are shipped under a “general” license which does not require an application. ② Import license The import license is obtained by the foreign importer and sent to the exporter. Invoice ① Commercial invoice The commercial invoice indicates the quantity and description of the goods, the loading port and destination port, the mode of transportation, the country of origin, the price per unit and the total cost of the goods.
