Oscar Wilde (1854—1900) Life In 1854, born at Dublin. In 1874, studied classics at Trinity College, Dublin, and was admitted to Oxford University with a scholarship, there he became particularly well known for his role in the aesthetic. A spokesman for the aesthetic movement in England in 19th century. In 1884, Wilde married Constance Lloyd. They had two sons, Cyril (1885) and Viviane (1886). Life From 80s to 90s, wrote and published all his major works. In 1891, his meeting Lord Alfred Douglas changed his role from a husband to a homosexual lover. In may 1895, when he rose to the summit of his fame, he was sentenced to two years’ hard labour on a charge of immoral conduct.
