Stepper motor has a high repeated positioning accuracy, command pulse can better control the drive speed, which also can realize positive rotation and the reverse rate smoothing conditioning , its operation speed and step distance is not affected by the supply voltage and the load fluctuation, the methode of control is simple and convenient and the price is low, it has been widely used. With the development of SCM technology, people combined single-chip with microcomputer control stepper motor, so that the performance of the stepper motor greatly improved. Stepper motor can control precision high equipment requirements, such as printers, plotters, CD-ROM disk drive, automatic control valve, and the robot mechanical device. But stepper motor can not be directly connected to the power supply, need supporting driver and controller and driver performance greatly affects stepper motor performance, so good drive controller has important significance. The design by the stepper motor driving characteristics of in-depth understanding and learning, using a hybrid stepper motor driving the chip uln2003a and AT89C52 single-chip design of hybrid step motor 28byj-48 drive, and through LCD1602 LCD display running status.
