Period 2　Reading The General Idea of This Period This is the second period of this unit. This period centers on the reading passage, which is about first impressions in the future. At the beginning of the period, the teacher can design some activities to draw the students’ attention to read. In order to attract the students’ attention, the teacher had better offer the students the opportunities to have a competition about preparing knowledge of future. Then the teacher can make full use of the pictures present in the text. Ask the students to predict what the passage may be mainly about. This
