However, it’s hard for households in MGP area to increase their incomes mainly through grain plant, although from the national aspect it’s efficient for them to do so. Consequently, there is a tradeoff between the income growth of those households and the food security of the whole country. On the one hand, it’s the government’s responsibility to support rural households in MGP area. On the other hand, those households could manage to increase their own incomes through the in-depth structure adjustment of grain varieties, the development of animal husbandry, and the development of food processing industry.
