It is a general business degree designed to create business leaders who are familiar with broad functions of a business, including management, marketing, finance, accounting and information systems. Those of you that are studying business as an undergrad this is an opportunity to study it at a higher level and to build a whole new set of skills. If you are not studying business then you will get a business education to prepare you for a wide variety of careers. An MBA will complement any other degree nicely because it teaches you to use a managerial approach to business. New skill sets: Throughout our program we stress the importance of developing skills such as teamwork, communication and leadership. As I will elaborate on the curriculum later you will see that much of your upper level course work is done in a group on consulting projects. When to get an MBA: You have been going to school for a long time so for some people, they are sick of being a student.
