And al so, the risk research of large public places has influence on the projects of city disaster reduction andm itigation di rectly, asw ell as on bu ild ing and carrying out ofmanagement strategy. This paper generally surveys the present sta tus of risk assessment for large public places, including index system and assessmentm ethods. And also, analyzes how mi portant the risk assessment of large public places is. Beside these, this paper points out several problem s in risk assessment on large public places.
