Sh enyang R egional C lmi ate Cen ter, Sh enyang 1100 16, C hina Abstract: In this paper, a diagnostic analysis and num erical smi ulation test using the new generation o f m esoscale m ode l of Am erica (W eather Research F orecastM ode,l WRF w ere conducted to research the course of the tornado occurring in L iaoning P rov ince on June 10, 2005. T he results of diagnosis show that the cooperat ion of strong con- vergence in low level and d ivergence in upper a ir reached the great prosperou s period and o ffered suffic ien t cond-i t ion for strong convection.
