Clinical study of the effects of changningtang on Antibiotic associated diarrhea in the elders Specialty :TCM internal Medicine Author :ren wei min Tutor :Director of Physicians Liu DongMei Abstract Objective :To investigate the efficacy of changningtang in patients with Antibiotic associated diarrhea in the elders. Ways :From April 2009 to December 2010,sixty patients with Antibiotic associated diarrhea in the elders were enrolled in this study and divided randomly into two groups.Thirty cases were received changningtang as the study group,and thirty cases were received peifeikang capsule as the control group.Two groups have been received the medicine treatment for four weeks,and then the changes of clinical symptom and physical sign were analyzed. Results :After 4-weeks treatment,we found the changes of two groups were better than before the treatment.The changes of clinical symptom and physical sign were significantly better after the treatment(P0.05).The total effective rate of the study group was higher than that of the control group(86.67%vs73.33%,P0.05).For the changers of clinical symptom and physical sign,the study group was significantly better than the control group(P0.05).
