摘 要 随着语言测试理论和实践的发展，测试开发者越来越注重考查 学生在实际语言使用中的交际能力。因此，目前已被国内广泛认可的 大学英语四级考试也进行了相应的改革，尤其是听力测试部分。 本论文对传统大学英语四级考试听力测试与新大学英语四级考 试听力测试进行了对比研究。论文首先简要回顾了听力理解和交际性 测试的相关理论。其次，作者对两种听力测试的试卷进行了对比，以 找出两者的差异。然后，论文进一步讨论了新大学英语四级考试听力 测试在听力语料和题型方面所做出的改革。研究采用定性、定量的方 法，通过问卷调查了考生对两次听力考试的意见，并对两次考试的成 绩进行了数据分析。最终，论文得出了结论：新大学英语四级考试听 力测试在测试任务和语料等方面做出了令人满意的改革，比传统大学 英语四级考试更有效地考核了学生的听力水平。 新大学英语四级考试在听力测试部分做出了较大的改进。首先， 听力测试的语料更加真实，更为贴近现实交际过程中的口语，从而提 高了考试的真实性。其次，考试题型中的主观题比例加大，从而提高 了考试效度。再次，题型更为多样化，使听力测试任务更为接近真实 的语言应用。 作者希望本研究有助于深入地了解新大学英语四级考试听力部 分所考核的语言能力，并希望新大学英语四级考试所做出的改革能够 对中国的大学英语教学产生积极的反拨作用。 关键词：传统大学英语四级考试听力测试，新大学英语四级考试听力 测试，真实度，反拨作用 - ii - ABSTRACT With the development of the theories and practices in language testing, it becomes a tendency that test designers pay more attention to the assessment of testees’ communicative competence in language use. Accordingly, the College English Test (CET), a well-established large-scale standardized test in China, has undergone great reforms, particularly, in listening component. The present study sets its aim to examine the innovations in the listening component of CET-4 (CET-LT) by comparing the traditional CET-LT with the new CET-LT. Firstly, the study reviews briefly relevant literature about the nature of listening and about the test of listening comprehension, as well as the qualities of a communicative EFL test. Secondly, both the traditional CET-LT and the new CET-LT are studied to examine the differences between the two. Thirdly, the paper discusses what innovations have been made in the new CET-LT in terms of input materials and test format. Fourthly, both quantitative and qualitative methods are employed to investigate the subjects’ opinions about the two listening tests and to analyze the data drawn from the two tests. Finally, the conclusions of the study are drawn: the new CET-LT has made satisfactory innovations in test format and input materials, and it can better reflect the subjects’ listening competence. - iii - Compared with the tradit
