Clinical Study on treating idiopathic membranous nephropathy with methods of tonifying qi invigorate the circulation of blood,dredge collaterals and dissipation agglomerate Speciality:The study of Kidney Diseases.Internal Medicine of TCM Auther:Gao Zhiqiang Tutor:Professor Guo Zhaoan Abstract Objective:To observe the clinical effect of treating idiopathic membranous nephr- opathy(IMN) with the methods of tonifying qi invigorate the circulation of blood,dredge collaterals and dissipation agglomerate,and disscuss the next cure of IMN from kidney collateral and abdominal mass, looking for one prescription suitable for most people. Methods:Fifty-six cases of biopsy-proven IMN were enrolled in this trial,with proteinuria ＞3.5g/d.They were divided in two groups in chronological：experimental group and control group.The control group were treated with tripterygium wilfordi while the experimental group were treated with tripterygium wilfordi and Yi-qi-tong-luo decoction. They would have a compare between the two groups for 3 months, 6 months after the effect of the indicators. Results:Forty-nine patients completed 6 months observation,including 25 cases of control group and 24 cases of experimental group. (1)Compare by two groups of oneselves:After 3 and 6 months,24 hour urinary protein quantity and total cholesterol and triglyceride decreased and albumin increased in the two groups(P＜0.05).The curative effect after six months were better than the three months(P＞0.05),and there was no difference in creatinine(P＞0.05).(2) Compare between the two groups: After 3 and 6 months,experimental group was significantly better than the control group except creatinine which was no significantly difference.（3）The total effective rate comparison:the  control group was 64%  while experimental group was 75% after 3 months ; the control group was72 % while experimental group was 87.5% after 6 months.Experimental group was significantly better than the control group(P＜0.05). Conclusion:Y
