学 号：  NORTH CHINA UNIVERSITY OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY 毕业论文 GRADUATE THESIS 论文题目：基于文化翻译角度对《红高粱家族》 英译本的研究 学生姓名： 专业班级：11英语1班 学 院：外国语学院 指导教师： 2015年05月21日 The Study on English Version of Red Sorghum Family from Cultural Translation Perspective By A graduate thesis submitted in partial fulfillment of the requirements for the degree of Bachelor of Arts to the College of Foreign Languages North China University of Science and Technology May 21st, 2015 摘 要 众所周知，语言是文化的重要组成部分和载体，语言和文化的密切关系决定了翻译和文化的密切关系。所以，就翻译而言，已经不仅仅是对文本进行的语言转换过程，而是一种涉及跨文化交际的活动。但究竟如何理解文化翻译以及怎样研究文化翻译仍是翻译学的一个重要课题。 本课题将在文化翻译理论的指导下，对《红高粱家族》英译本进行研究。第二章分为两个小章节，分别介绍有关于文化翻译的理论知识及其国内外研究发展现状，和中英版本《红高粱家族》及其作者与译者的相关信息。第三、四章是全文的主要部分，分别从语言和文化因素角度出发，就《红高粱家族》英译本如何成功的适应了目标读者的接受性和英语国家的语言环境做出研究，并引出个例。最后一章是对主要内容的简单总结。 关键词 文化翻译；葛浩文；《红高粱家族》 ABSTRACT It is well known that?language as a carrier is an important?part of culture, which determines the close relationship between translation and culture. So, translation itself is not only a language conversion process of text, but also a cross-cultural communication activity. How Cultural Translation to be understood and studied is still a very important issue. The paper aims to discuss Red Sorghum Family under the guidance of Cultural Translation theory. Chapter 2 is divided into two sections, the first one introducing some particular knowledge that related to cultural translation theory as well as the research findings?at?home?and?abroad; and in the second one, a brief introduction about Mo Yan and Howard Goldblatt, the writer and translator, will be made. The next two chapters form the main body of the full text, studying how the translation is accepted by target readers and adapts the English?national language environment successfully from two perspectives, language and culture factors.
