L/O/G/O A common fixture of work life is the meeting. Meetings are convened to trade information, make plans, or come up with ideas. Good meetings involve preparation: a time and place must be decided before hand, and employees must consider the reason for the meaning so they can know what to expect and how they can contribute. It can be useful to record what happened at a meeting. Purpose: a notice to deliver information before the meeting. Forms A memo A letter A postcard An email message The time for most meetings is decided on long before the meeting happens. The person calling the meeting should arrange for everyone to know about and attend the meeting by providing a letter, memo, email, or post card containing the following: Date and Time of the meeting The place of the meeting Purpose of the meeting (an agenda) Things to bring to the meeting Basic Information: 1.Date and time of the meeting. 2.The place where the meeting will be held. 3.Purpose of the meeting or an agenda. 4.Materials to bring. 5.A reply card of a reservation slip.
