Unit 7 What’s the highest mountain in the world? T: Good morning , class T: Look at the picture. What can you see? Yes, there are some pictures on the screen. They’re the new words that we will learn. （大屏幕展示生词图片，教授单词和短语） Step 2 Presentation Teach Activity 1a. 1、T: Please watch the four pictures and talk about them “How big/high/long/deep is …?” and help the students to answer: It’s …meters/kilometers big/high/long/deep. Explain :“8,844 meters high” 表示“8,844米高” 英语表示“某物有多大/高/长/深……”时，一般将数词和表示数量单位的名词放在表示长宽高的形容词前面。 Then, ask students to have a look at the chart in 1a to know what to do in this activity.
