FINAL REPORT DESIGN STANDARD INTRODUCTION This guide has been developed to help with the preparation of final reports for FRDC projects. The Design Standard ensures: consistency in final report format; contractual obligations are met; FRDC reporting requirements are met. Non technical summaries (and eventually the full final report in the majority of cases) will be made available on the FRDC website and maybe covered in the FISH magazine, so it is important that they comply with this standard. FRDC appreciates at times deviation from the standard may be required for certain projects. This draft will be an accurate representation of the Final Report, and will incorporate feedback obtained from any peer review undertaken up to this stage. The report will have been adequately edited before being sent to FRDC (we are not editors). Draft final reports for subprogram projects will be reviewed by the appropriate Subprogram Leader with assistance from the steering committee. PLEASE NOTE: It is important that the draft final report be as close to the final as possible. This will ensure no/minimal changes will need to be made to the final report. Stage 2 The FRDC will review the Draft Final Report and provide written advice on any concerns about the technical content and report format.
