A b str a c t R eading is an im portant part of language learn ing in the prim ary school. G ood reading sk ills play a vital role in students lives. In th is study, w e investigated and analyze th e prim ary school students language learn ing, reading ab ility, th e am ount of literacy, grasp of the pronunciation and shaped. A nd exp lore th e factors that in fluence th e students reading ab ility. In th is study, w e selected a total of 269 fourth grade students of a full-tim e elem entary school in T ianjin . C on sidering th e am ount of literacy, phonolog ical aw areness, orthograph ic processing has conducted a total of seven subtests. A dopt organ izations m easured. A nd com bined w ith the survey m ethod, interview m ethod to co llect the level of students language learn ing and data of the reading ab ility level. U sing SPSS 11.5 statistical softw are to analyze the overall language proficiency in reading, literacy and sound shaped correlation analysis. A nd exam ine the shape of the sound of different read ing ab ility of students, the am ount of literacy, language proficiency differences. E xperim ental results show that: 1.Fem ale language learn ing, read ing com prehension, the syllab le judgm ent, shaped the understanding and level of investigation w ith the radical w ere significantly b etter than b oys. 2 .Phono logical aw areness, orthograph ic processing level and student level of literacy, reading com prehension related to the level. 3.Students w ho have a low level of pronunciation understanding , th e level of shaped and reading com prehension level have a sign ificant correlation, w h ile students w ho h ave a h igh er level of understand ing in th is regard w as not sign ificantly a sso c ia te d . 4 .F or students of d ifferent reading levels, gen der is also an influencing factors.
